The Marigold Cardigan, adult version comes with TWO fully explained variations, the original pattern the same as the children’s version, and a newer V-neck, drop shoulder version. The original pattern is pages 1 – 11, the variation is pages 12 -17.
This pattern is suited for beginners with an understanding of basic stitches. New stitches might be the bobble stitch – dc5tog, and the fphdc, bphdc ribbing method. I have tutorials for both of these on my instagram IGTV @littlegoldennook.
Sizing notes:
*If you fall into one of the above sizes but tend to have bigger arms I suggest using a half size bigger hook size or going up one size for the original pattern. *With the pattern variation you can easily make a certain size body, and follow a larger or smaller sleeve size.
10ply/Worsted/Aran/Medium weight yarn is best to achieve the gauge and sizing for this pattern. There is the option of making your cardigan shorter or longer than the suggested measurements.
