Description
This Summer and Winter shawl features both Valley Yarns 8/2 Tencel and Valley Yarns 5/2 Bamboo for an iridescent weave that drapes and shimmers beautifully, like stars in the dark night sky. Recommended for intermediate weavers and up as this draft uses a skeleton tie-up./
Weave Structure: Summer and Winter
Equipment: 8-shaft jack or table loom (due to skeleton tie-up) at least 26″ wide, 2 shuttles, 2 bobbins
Warp Yarns: Valley Yarns 8/2 Tencel (100% Lyocell, 3,360 yds/lb, sold on ~1lb cones) Amethyst, 1,752 yds
Weft Yarns: Valley Yarns 5/2 Bamboo (100% Rayon from Bamboo, 2,100 yds/lb, sold on ~1lb cones) Birch, 555 yds; Valley Yarns 8/2 Tencel (100% Lyocell, 3,360 yds/lb, sold on ~1lb cones) Gold, 555 yds
