For the knitter who welcomes various techniques in a single pattern, ValleyYarns Wainscot features a dramatic slip-stitch colorwork border, cable frontpanels, a shawl color, and set-in pockets trimmed with I-cord. This women’scardigan is knit flat in Valley Superwash DK in one piece from the bottom up tothe underarm. Shoulders are joined using 3-Needle Bind Off. Front bands andshawl collar are picked up and worked along the front and neck edges. Longset-in sleeves are knit from the shoulders in the round to the cuffs. ValleyYarns Valley Superwash DK is made from 100% extra fine Merino which makes itincredibly soft and an excellent choice for both kids’ and adults’ projects. ValleySuperwash DK is machine-washable in cold water with a gentle detergent orEucalan. The 3-ply construction of this yarn gives it excellent stitchdefinition, so it’s a great choice for colorwork, and more! The slip stitchcolorwork and cable patterns are charted and written out.
