Description
Errata: In the Ovals stitch pattern, rows 10 & 12 the repeat should be (k5, slip 2 wyif, k3) not (k5, slip 2 wyif, p3). A newer, corrected version of the pattern was uploaded on 1/18/11.

Washington Square is a bottom up cardigan worked flat to the underarm in one piece. The sleeves are worked in the round separately and joined to the body at the yoke. The cardigan is then worked in one piece to the neck. Stitches are picked up at the front edges for the button bands. The underarms are grafted.
The sample in the photos is size 40″ and is shown in Schaefer Yarn Miss Priss.
