Shown in three differrent sizes and two typesof yarn, this pattern can be easilycustomized even further, to create whateverwidth or length you wish!All versions are worked from end to end, andthen grafted (or seamed). Theheadband or cowl could easily be completedin a weekend.
The design for Ropes Beach was originallycommissioned by the Our Back 40yarn company as the “Cabled InfinityScarf ” and “Cabled Winter Headband”(patterns available only as a kit withOur Back 40 yarn). The Ropes Beachversion uses a mirror image of the originalcharts, which means that only onestitch instead of five must be held foreach cable cross; this allows the crossesto be made without a cable needle.
