Description
Classic Fair Isle motifs get an update in this modern, slightly slouchy beanie. Named for a character in the PBS show, Home Fires, this hat was inspired by the motifs and colors of vintage Fair Isle sweaters and vests from the 1940s. This pattern is a great way to use up small amounts of stash yarn. With only four colors and no decreasing in the colorwork section, this is a suitable pattern for first-time Fair Isle knitters.
