These sweet little bears are very quick and easy to make. Excellent fund raisers at fairs and bazaars, they can become pocket dolls and lucky mascots. Attached to a ribbon for a book mark or pendant. Attach to key ring, a brooch pin (or safety pin) to wear as a brooch. Without stuffing they make cute finger puppets. They can be stocking fillers, cracker fillers, party bag fillers, lucky dip prizes, competition prizes or gifts for teachers – The list is endless. The easy to make little cottage bag will hold all 10 bears.
HEIGHT of BEARS when knitted: 8cm (3ins).
NEEDLES: Two straight 2.75 mm needles for bears (US 2). Two 3.25mm needles for bag (US 3).
YARN: DK (double knitting) yarn (USA – light-worsted/Australia – 8 ply)
