Description
The gorgeous images of Saturn from NASA’s Cassini mission struck me from the beginning – the brightly colored rings against our galaxy’s dark night sky are absolutely stunning. This cardigan is my nod to those images. Knit from the top down in one piece Cassini features bright, raised “rings” that encircle a round yoke on a neutral background. Originally published as the Saturn Cardigan in Knitscene’s Summer 2013 issue, the Cassini Cardigan includes a wider range of sizes as well as updated and additional pattern instructions.
The sample is knit with Shibui Knits Sock (100% Merino), an alternative yarn is shown below.
