Frontline Heroes are knit in the round, using Magic Loop (or DPNs). The shoes, body/base/legs, arms and head are all knit on as you work along. There are 6 Heroes: Health Care Worker, Firefighter, Mail Carrier, Police Officer, Grocer and Delivery Person. Their clothes are not removable. The Heroes stand freely, approx. 8″ tall (without hats) and are created using #3-light wt. (DK wt.) yarn. Each Hero takes approx. 270 total yards. • Size 3 (3.25mm) 32″ Circular Knitting Needles (if using Magic Loop) or Double Pointed Needles • Safety Eyes: 8mm or embroidery thread/yarn • Embroidery thread or yarn for mouth • Plastic Canvas Inserts for Legs: Two 1 ¼″ diameter circles • Plastic Canvas for Box: Two 1 ¼″ squares, Four 5/16″ x 1 ¼″ rectangles • Other Decorations/Supplies: felt for emblems • Ring Stitch Markers & Removable Stitch Markers • Large-Eyed Blunt Needle & Long Straight Pins • Polyester Fiberfill Stuffing
