Description
The shape of the lace pattern in this triangular shawl reminded us of a row of old-fashioned kites. This is an intricate lace pattern, but not a traditional one! Worked in our fingering weight merino, this design uses clever drop stitch construction in an unexpected way.
Materials: 1 skein Swans Island Natural Colors, 100% Organic Merino Wool; fingering weight (100 gms, 525 yds each) Color Shown: #YF150 Black Cherry
US size 4 (3.5 mm) 32″ circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge Stitch markers in 2 different colors; yarn needle
