Description

Looking Forward blanket is easy to knit with worsted weight yarn. The design features an 8-row repeat stitch pattern that creates a modern triangular design that is reversible.

SIX BLANKET SIZES:

Baby: 23.5″ wide x 27″ long

Small: 26.5″ wide x 32″ long

Medium: 31″ wide x 35″ long

Large: 36″ wide x 42″ long

XL: 40.5″ wide x 48.5″ long

XXL: 46″ wide x 55″ long

It’s easy to make blanket longer by adding pattern repeats.

WORSTED #4 WEIGHT YARN:

Baby: 450 – 470 yards

Small: 600 – 630 yards

Medium: 760 – 800 yards

Large: 1050 – 1120 yards

XL: 1330 – 1430 yards

XXL: 1800 – 1900 yards

GAUGE:

Pattern stitch with US 8 needles: approximately 16 stitches & 24 rows = 4″

Exact gauge is not essential. This stitch pattern looks best with fairly tight stitches.

Blanket knit flat, in one piece, back & forth on circular knitting needles to accommodate large number of stitches.

Blocking of finished knitting is highly recommended.

Written pattern with row by row instructions.
