A “Funicular” is a rail car thatis run by cables up an inclined plane, usually a mountainside and, workedentirely in the round from the bottom up, the Funicular Hat from Lyrical Knitshas inclined lines of colorwork that are formed entirely by short rows. Chooseeither a short ribbing or a deeper, folded ribbing to frame the face and keepyour ears extra warm. A pompom and a bit of slouch make the hat bothfashionable and fun.
