Texture makes a statement in Noro’s Lace Cable Scarf knit in Tsubame. This funscarf features basketweave eyelet cables, I-cord framed patch pockets and I-cordfringe. The scarf is knit flat from end to end. The pockets are knit separatelyand then sewn on. The I-cord fringe is positioned in an ombréappearance for added interest. Tsubame is a single-ply blend of silk, wool, andpolyamide from Noro that features their signature long-run color changes. Withover 650 yards per skein, this yarn is an outstanding choice for a largeproject like this scarf. The Open Weave Basket pattern is charted andwritten out.
