Description
Come along and learn how easy and fun the broomstick stitch can be to crochet! This is a very old technique that used to be made using a literal broomstick, hence its name. This one-skein-wonder comes together rather quickly and makes a beautiful & colorful scarf. This also looks great in solid color yarns. Includes complete video tutorial for both right & left-handers.
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Yarn: 1 skein of Red Heart Super Saver Bitty Stripes
Hook & Needle: Crochet hook size I (or 9/5.50 mm), Size 50 (25.0 mm) knitting needle
Notions: scissors, yarn needle, book or piece of sturdy cardboard (10″ around)
Finished Dimensions: 8″ wide x 60″ long (without fringe)
