Description
The Ralen scarf is worked entirely in double knitting, with openings placed at specific points so one end can be folded back and passed through to form a bow effect.
A video demonstration is included in the pattern for the double-knitting technique and how to hide the floats when changing colors in stripes.
Gauge / With 5.5 mm (US 9) needle:
18 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10cm / 4 x 4″ in stockinette stitch after blocking. (This is provided for knitters to make a swatch and to use it as a guideline when selecting yarn)
33 sts x 19 rows = 10 x 10cm / 4 x 4″ worked in double knitting.
