Our longtime Rigid Heddle teacher, Marthe Young, thoroughly explains and illustrates how to add beaded embellishments to Danish Medallions in this gorgeous scarf. The bulk of the scarf is woven in our delicious Rayon Chenille – producing a cozy, sophisticated scarf that is a joy to wear – and show off!
Equipment: Rigid heddle loom at least 15″ wide with a 12-dent reed, 2 stick shuttles, 1 tube of size 6 (E) beads or approximately 100 beads, 2 crochet hooks: size D/3/3.25mm for metallic yarn and steel hook 8/1.4mm for seed beads.
~3 yds bulky scrap yarn recommended for the header.
