Description
Inspired by the swallowtail butterfly, this shadow weave shawl creates the illusion of curves and movement while still creating a stable fabric with Valley Yarns Rayon Chenille yarn. The chenille evokes the velvety look of a butterfly’s wings under a microscope and is touchably soft, for a fabric you’ll want to wrap yourself in day or night.
Weave Structure: Shadow Weave
Equipment: 4-shaft loom at least 27″ wide, 2 shuttles, 2 bobbins
