Description
This duo of towels is perfect for a spring refresh or anytime you want to add a pop of color to your decor. Woven in plain weave in Valley Yarns 6/2 Cotton, a simple change of sett in six sections provides a crisp, striped design on a monochrome base.
Equipment: 4-shaft loom with a 24″ minimum weaving width, 1 shuttle, 1 bobbin
Warp Yarns: Valley Yarns 6/2 Cotton (100% unmercerized cotton, 2520 yds/lb, sold on 0.9/lb cones), Scarlet, 1,144 yds
Weft Yarns: Valley Yarns 6/2 Cotton (100% unmercerized cotton, 2520 yds/lb, sold on 0.9/lb cones), Scarlet, 500 yds
Warp Length: 2.75 yds of 416 ends
Sett: 12 epi (1 per dent in a 12-dent reed) and 24 epi (2 per dent in a 12-dent reed), 12 ppi. (12-dent reed required due to irregular sleying)
