Valley Yarns Alcyone is a stunning women’s strandedcolorwork cardigan knit in Sunderland; a 100%baby alpaca yarn is a versatile DK weight and has a soft halo and beautifullyheathered colors. The sweater features a scoop neckline and long sleeves that sitat mid-hip with an allover colorwork pattern and contrasting color for the ribtrims. Alcyone is knit in the round from the bottom up, and sleeves are worked separatelyand joined to the body at the beginning of the yoke. Steek stitches are includedin the center front from the hem to the neck, which will then be cut up thecenter and secured to the inside of the piece. The colorwork pattern is inchart form only.
