Valley Yarns Neapolitan is kind of a cross between a shrug and a cardigan. The exceptional construction of this piece offers you the best of both worlds knit in Granville. The chevron pattern has a retro feel,but the style is absolutely modern, and Neapolitan is rather flattering on mostfigures and will be a workhorse in every knitter’s wardrobe. The upper body isworked flat in rows in four colors. The piece is folded in half lengthwise andseamed from the edges toward the center for the short sleeves and bodice.Stitches for the bottom half are picked up from the base of the bodice andworked back and forth in rows to form the lower half of the cardigan.
