Description

Inspired by the striking reds and whites of traditional Nordic folk art, the Nordic Tiles Scarf and Fingerless Mitt set is a great travel project as the tiles are completed individually then joined with simple surface crochet. A great mid-season set, these pieces are perfect to keep the chill off as Spring warms up. This set is worked in the soft and luxurious Valley Yarns Northfield, a cable-plied Merino, baby alpaca, and silk blend.

Finished Measurements:
     Scarf – 6″ x 60″, not including fringe
Mitts – 7″ long x 7″ circumference (one size fits most)
Yarn Requirements: Valley Yarns Northfield (70% Merino Wool/ 20% Baby Alpaca/ 10% Silk; 50g/124yds)
MC – 4 balls shown in 01 Natural
CC – 2 balls shown in 19 Red
Hook: US G/6 (4.00mm)
Gauge: 1 Tile motif = 6.5″x 6.5″
